The layers after they've been twisted and decreased in size.  This will be the shape that will be cut out of the acrylic cube.

Model cut out of layers of acrylic, connected by string.

The model will decrease in size towards the bottom.

The model will be cut into 10 sections and each will twist a little to the right.

Precedent Images

I really like the shape that is created when the layers twist and go from larger to smaller.  So I thought I'd use these two ideas in my model.

I also thought that having my model inside a cube and cutting the shape of my model out of each layer would also make the shape created really interesting.
